What people ask
How does a murder mystery party work?
You play over dinner in three rounds, usually between the starter, the main course and dessert. In each round everyone has something to tell, someone to question and a secret to protect. At the end you vote on who the murderer is, and the solution is revealed.
How many can play?
6 to 12 players, including you if you play along.
What does it cost?
€33 for 6-8 players and €40 for 9-12 players. A one-off payment. You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
How long does it take?
Allow 2 to 3 hours. The game fits into an ordinary dinner.
Does everyone need a smartphone?
It's easiest, because then the rounds unlock automatically. But there's also a printable version, so guests without a phone can play on paper.
What if a guest cancels?
Several of the roles can be dropped, and you mark the cancellation with one tap. Secrets and clues only appear when the party starts, so a role that can't be dropped can be handed to another guest.
As the host, do I know who the murderer is?
No, not if you play along. You never get the murderer's role, and the solution stays hidden from you until you tap Reveal the murderer. If you'd rather know in advance, you can look at the solution.
Is it written by AI?
Yes. That's how it can be about your guests in particular. An AI detective that doesn't know the solution tries to solve every case from the clues before you get the game. You see the cast list and the start of the story free before you pay.
Which languages can it be in?
English or Danish. You choose when you create the game, and every guest gets everything in that language.
Will anyone be made fun of?
We tease with love and never below the belt. We don't touch weight, looks, health, money, exes or other sensitive subjects, and nobody is ever pressured to drink.
What about personal data?
We ask for first names and whatever you write about your guests. Drafts that aren't bought are deleted after 30 days, and purchased games after 12 months. Read more in the privacy policy.
What if the mystery can't be solved?
Then you get all your money back. Write to us no later than 7 days after the party, or tap the button in your host dashboard.
Can I cancel my purchase?
When you buy, you agree that the game is delivered right away and confirm that your right of withdrawal lapses as a result. The party guarantee still applies.
AI writes the mystery. A human answers your email.
